Old Favorites by Jordana Wright Photography

One of my favorite things about digital photography is the ability to take and save loads of images.  Sometimes it's nice to come home from a shoot, choose a few favorites and walk away from the rest of the photos for a while.  Then a few days, months, or years later, you can comb back through various folders looking for some new favorites that maybe didn't catch your eye the first time around.  If we still worked predominantly in film, this would be a lot harder to do!  Here are a couple of old photos that have become some new favorites of mine.  Click any of the photos to see them in our Image Archive!

An old Cape Cod door knocker.

Wood End Light, in Cape Cod

A toy car on a friend's mantel.

A lantern and plant in a friend's window.

All of these shots were taken in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  Its amazing how sometimes you need a little distance to gain new perspective on an old photo!  What do you think?  Do you ever need to walk away from something for a while to be able to look at it in a whole new way?
