Proposal Photoshoot!

On Friday I had the very rare opportunity of witnessing and photographing a proposal!  

Steve recruited me last month to help surprise his girlfriend, Kathryn, with a ring in one of my favorite spots in Paris, IL -- Schwartz Park.  I pretended to be photographing flowers when they arrived so Kathryn wouldn't get suspicious :-)  She thought they were just at the park to give her little one an opportunity to run around in the summer sun, but before long, Steve was down on one knee and she was BEAMING!  I'm so lucky to have been a part of their incredible moment together.  Here are a few photos from the proposal --

Sneak Preview: Saundra & Matt's Wedding!

Last weekend we had the good fortune of photographing the New York wedding of our friends Saundra & Matthew.  It was a beautiful ceremony at the O'Byrne Chapel of Manhattanville College, followed by a fantastic reception at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel.  We got a small sample of their dynamic together last summer at their Engagement Session, and were delighted to be a part of their special day.  Take a look at the Sneak Preview we put together for them... Melissa & Jacob - Sneak Preview!

Last Saturday was a beautiful day of celebration for the wedding of Melissa Mihalko and Jacob Lynch of Paris, Illinois!  We got to know this special couple at their engagement shoot last month, and  were so excited to get to spend their big day with them!  To send them off in style for their honeymoon in Jamaica, we put together this little sneak preview of their wedding day.  Enjoy!

Melissa & Jacob - Engagement Session

Last week we had an incredible Engagement Session at a cabin in the woods outside Paris, Illinois.  Its always so much fun to do Engagement Sessions -- especially with a couple like Melissa and Jacob!  Their energy, sense of fun, and the dynamic between them, made this couple a joy to photograph.  They've been together a long time, and now we're less than a month away from their big day!  Here's the sneak preview of their session!
