White River State Park, Indianapolis

Recently we have made several trips over to Indianapolis (only about 1.5 hours from our house in Paris, IL) to check out the Downtown area and White River State Park.  Indy is a really amazing city with a great vibe.  While in town we also visited The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art.  They have a very extensive and impressive collection and its definitely worth a visit!

After all of the Photo Walks we've been doing in Paris, Illinois with the Photography Class at the Paris Art Center, Indianapolis seemed like an obvious location to explore in images.  The city is very pedestrian friendly, and has a definite Midwestern pace -- perfect for the stops and starts of Jordana Wright Photography.  We saw and captured many interesting textures, patterns, art installations, and architecture -- we were even in the perfect place at the perfect time to witness some terrifyingly brave window washers (pictures later in the week) on one of the buildings downtown.

Here are a few of our favorite Indianapolis images... click any of the images to see them in our Archive.  Enjoy!

Thanks for visiting and check back soon for more images from our visits to Indianapolis!
