Yuma and the surrounding awesome

I arrived in Yuma, Arizona late Sunday night.  Over the past two days I've been exploring the area like crazy, trying to take in as much as possible in the short amount of time I have here.  Yesterday I started at the Yuma Territorial Prison -- a must visit historical location.

After lunch and some more sightseeing in in Yuma, I drove over the California border to visit the Imperial Sand Dunes.  Over the course of several hours, I drove through, walked around, and climbed the dunes in 111* heat to get photographs from all angles.  A gallon of water and two memory cards later, I headed back to Yuma, totally satisfied with the time I spent exploring.  Here are a few of the shots that I took...

This chapel, located in Felicity, CA is part of the Museum of History in Granite...

This morning I woke up at 4:45 to meet a reporter from KYMA News 11 for a sunrise shoot at Sunrise Point Park.  Here are a couple of shots from the incredible morning shoot!

Tonight I'm off on a late train to Los Angeles, where we have a photowalk on Saturday with Mark Esguerra!  You can still RSVP for the walk on our website!

Thanks for checking in!  More photos soon!
